What a fun evening we had! No sparks, but fun! Valentina and I were so tired from our first few days in Berlin that we almost cancelled. But with our 30 dates in 30 days Challenge at hand, it wasn’t the time to bail out! Plus, I was on my quest for this fuzzy feeling (see Date #1) and full of hope that we’ll find Valentina’s first date amongst Adam’s friends.
Long story short (read more about it on Valentina’s post). No fuzzy feeling, but a fantastic evening. We went to this “posh” restaurant. Posh for Berlin standards. I felt catapulted back to my time in Munich. French food, lots of alcohol, seen and be seen and a restaurant that almost turned into a club as the night went on.
Adam and I really didn’t speak that much over the course of the night. We had some good conversations, but even better conversation with the larger group. I really liked all of his friends. Not as dates, but as friends or even to talk business with. No date #3 for Adam and myself…the initial feeling I had about him grew even stronger. He’s such a nice guy and I’d love to have him as a friend. But I think we’d both agree that there were no sparks. But overall, so happy we went. Learning for the night: Say yes more, you might end up loving it!
